General

What does tuition cover?

Tuition for CheerHawai‘i USA 2026 is $3,499. The total cost covers all ground transportation, accommodations at the Hilton Hawaiian Village, two sets of camp uniforms, and all tours and activities—a lei greeting at the airport, beach excursions and BBQ, the Polynesian Culture Center, Luau buffet, Arizona Memorial, and all Cheer Instruction. It does NOT cover the cost of your airline ticket. You must get your roundtrip airline ticket on your own.

We offer an add-on Comfort Upgrade Option which offers a hotel room with 1 roommate and your own queen bed. This Upgrade Option is $500 in addition to the Base Tuition, with a total tuition of $3,999. Base Tuition offers a hotel room of 4 cheerleaders sharing 2 queen beds.

How much spending money will be needed?

Plan on about $300+ spending money for each cheerleader.

Do we have to follow the payment plan?

Yes, as close as possible. We can work with you to adjust the monthly payments as needed.

What do we need to bring with us for the trip?

A complete list of items required for the trip to Hawai‘i will be sent to each cheerleader in their Welcome Packet. A few items on the list include workout clothing for 4 sessions, light/airy clothing for each activity, spending money, a new T-shirt from your high school, and your cheerleading uniform.

Will college coaches be there?

We have a few top NCAA Division I Cheer Coaches working the instructional sections. These are the only collegiate coaches that will be in attendance. This is a great opportunity for you to contact the colleges you are interested in and let them know you have been selected to attend the CheerHawai‘i USA Invitational and will be working with professional and collegiate coaches.

Where do the cheerleaders stay?

All cheerleaders are required to stay with the camp at the Hilton Hawaiian Village in Waikiki.

Parents

Can parents, family, and friends come to the camp?

Yes! The events in Hawai‘i also provide a chance for families to enjoy a great week. Family and friends are welcome to all of our activities and events, except the Waikiki trolley ride on the last night. There is no charge to attend any of the workout sessions. Contact us if you would like to join us at the Ehukai (Pipeline) Beach BBQ. Parents can contact the Polynesian Cultural Center to make reservations—make sure you say you’re with our group.

Where do parents and guests stay during camp?

Most of the family and friends will stay in Waikiki, even at the same resort with us - the Hilton Hawaiian Village. Our suggested travel agent can place you in the hotels with other CheerHawai‘i USA family and friends.

Will cheerleaders be able to spend time with their family during camp?

CheerHawai‘i USA has a rigorous schedule of cheer instruction and activities. To spend more time with your family in Hawai‘i, we suggest you arrive or depart earlier/later. However, family and friends are welcome to join us at most of our activities including, but not limited to, the Final Showcase, the BBQ at Pipeline beach, the Polynesian Cultural Center, shopping at the Swap Meet, and any of the workouts.

Safety

Will there be chaperones for the cheerleaders?

Yes. CheerHawai‘i USA has each cheerleader assigned to a squad of 12 cheerleaders and one coach. The assigned coach will be their chaperone throughout the entire camp. Additionally, we have 15 support staff, including our camp nurse and camp security, on site that also attend all activities and events.

Are there trainers or medical attention available?

Yes. CheerHawai‘i USA has an health aide on staff, 24 hours a day. A certified sports trainer is also present at every workout. For anything more serious, there is a hospital within a close distance to the resort in the event anyone is injured and needs emergency medical treatment.

What kind of security precautions does CheerHawai‘i take?

We are very strict with our security regulations. Cheerleaders are never allowed to leave the group without supervision. Security will be provided by CheerHawai‘i USA Staff. Any cheerleader who violates the CheerHawai‘i USA regulations will have their parents notified and the cheerleader could be sent home.

Travel

How do I book my flight?

Tuition does NOT cover the cost of the airfare ticket to Honolulu. There are a few different options that can be used to book your flight. We highly suggest you use a travel agent to purchase your ticket. In our experience, they have proven to be very beneficial in times of flight delays or cancellations. We can provide information for our recommended travel agent if you would like. You can also just go through travel sites, such as Expedia.com or Kayak.com.

How far away is the Hilton Hawaiian Village from the Honolulu airport?

The Honolulu airport is about 20-25 minutes from the Hilton Hawaiian Village in Waikiki.
